How Do We Make Our Scented Candles For The Home Our Candle Jars Combine Ethical Practices With The Finest Ingredients First, We Start With Our Vessel And Wicks There Are Several Wick Options Out There To Choose From, And Not All Of Them Are Considered Safe Some Companies Use Wicks That Contain Metal Or Lead To Keep The Wick Stiff And Out Of The Melted Wax, But These Wicks Come With Significant Health Concerns At Calyan, We Use Woven-Cotton Wicks With No Metal In Them We Use 100% Soy Wax In Our Candles Because It Is More Sustainable Than Other Wax Alternatives Out There, Its A Renewable Resource That Comes From The Ground, And Its Produced Right Here In America Some Companies Will Add Paraffin (A Waxy Byproduct Of The Oil Refining Process) To Their Soy Wax And Will Label Their Candles As Soy Based Or Soy Blend When A Candle Has This On The Label, Its Very Common That A Good Chunk Of It Is Made With Paraffin We Proudly Dont Use Any Paraffin Or Additives In Our Wax And We Make 100% Soy Wax Candles Then, We Work With Perfumers Andor Mix Fragrances Ourselves Our Vegan Soy Candles Make A Thoughtful Gift For The Family, Friends, Holidays Or Just Because Whether Looking For A Gift For Mom, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Scented Candle Gifts For Anyone Are A Great Way To Show You Care Every Purchase Of A Calyan Wax Co Candle Is A Simple Way For You To Say No More To Human Trafficking In America Each Candle Sold Provides Vital Funding To Nonprofits Working To Give Freedom, Justice, And Empowerment To Survivors Your Purchase Matters
